For any startup thinking about developing a prototype, architecting and building from scratch can be exhausting. A myriad of questions come up like — what frameworks, databases, or tools are appropriate for our prototype? How do we structure our code for easy development and testing? What is the cheapest way to deploy and how should we deploy? Over the years, I have helped startups and companies build products from scratch. PowerGen Renewable Energy, Kenya
Led the development of a central auth microservice in Go, enabling access control across 5 countries of operation. Transitioned the CI/CD pipeline from Gitlab CI/CD to Azure DevOps and trained my team to perform such duties.
Microsoft(FarmBeats project)
Built and delivered a rules engine and a website to enable local farmers to receive SMS advisories based on sensors placed on the farm.
Leaplug, Kenya
Led the design, development, and comprehensive testing of the initial interactive backend for the Leaplug platform. Created Gitlab CI/CD pipelines for testing and seamless deployment to Azure servers. Mentored two summer interns working on the Node.js backend.
Nokia Networks, Cameroon
Built a user-friendly website from scratch to revamp the 3G/4G configuration process which was done using Excel sheets.
